SESSION DESCRIPTION

Did you know that you could use OneNote to organize and manage your learner files? Join us to explore how some programs are using OneNote to keep all their learner forms and files in one place, making it easy to access, replicate and share with others.

Organizations/presenters from various sectors will be represented during the discussion component of the event.

Sara King

Instructor for Academic Upgrading, Post-Secondary Education, and Community Employment Services
Northern College - Moosonee Campus, Moose Factory, Fort Albany, Kashechewan & Attawapiskat Access Centres

Sara has worked in Literacy & Basic Skills at Northern College in Moosonee for over 11 years in various positions ranging from instructor, program coordinator and overseeing programming in the James Bay area (Moosonee, Moose Factory, Fort Albany, Kashechewan and Attawapiskat). She enjoys curriculum design, innovative practice and digital skills. Education is a big part of her life and she is always learning new things from courses and training online.

Christa Porter

Adult Program Coordinator at Gateway Centre for Learning

Christa Porter began as a volunteer with Gateway Centre for Learning in 2012. In early 2013 Christa was hired full time as the Administrative Assistant. In the last 10 years Christa has held many positions within Gateway and in 2019 was promoted to the Adult Program Coordinator. She enjoys connecting with the learners and finding innovative ways to serve them. In her spare time Christa enjoys reading, baking and spending time with friends and family.
